Why are Pro and Max billed every three months?

Cards expire, banks decline, and every one of those is a support ticket for something that is not a bug. Four charges a year instead of twelve means four chances for that to happen instead of twelve.

What happens if I stop paying?

Nothing is deleted. Apps stay installed with your settings untouched; they stop opening and stop updating, and opening one explains what changed and offers to resubscribe. Chrome extensions stay installed and keep working — they simply stop receiving updates.

Can I move between plans?

Yes, in either direction — but read this first: changing plan starts a new billing period immediately and does not prorate. Move from Pro to Supporter 20 days into a quarter and the remaining 70 days are not credited. If you are downgrading, cancelling and resubscribing when the paid period runs out usually costs less. The same warning is on the confirmation screen and in the Terms.

Why New Zealand dollars?

Because that is where the studio is and where the invoices are paid. If your card is in another currency your bank converts it; Stripe shows you the amount before you confirm anything.

Do you know who I am?

An email address, a password you chose, and whatever Stripe holds to take the payment. The apps add one thing to that: a salted hash of a machine identifier, so a subscription cannot be handed round the internet. We cannot reverse it into a computer, and nothing you do inside the apps is ever sent. The Privacy Policy lists every field.

Refunds?

Within fourteen days, ask and you get one — no form and no reason needed. It is written down in the Terms, not just promised here. After that, cancel and the plan stops at the end of the period you have paid for.
